Barry's Response - Thanks Sakthivel. It's never easy getting really accurate humidity readings. We get relative humidity by measuring wet and dry thermometer-bulb temperatures and consulting a psychrometric chart to give us the correct humidity. This thing, called a sling psychrometer, lets the user get quick readings by attaching it to a handle (or a rope) and whipping it around in the air for a while.
