I have had a few people tell me, when I'm cleaning a beach, that I'm fighting an endless battle.
To think like that, means you have already given up, You have become like many just taking up space, doing nothing, I myself rather go down fighting all the way, doing what is best for the planet, the voiceless and myself.
We will not know what, or when the end is, till the end is here, And in the mean time we all should be doing the best that we can, to save the only place that we know for sure, our home,Earth,
We deal with the now, because that is all we have, one day at a time, we in our own little way reach out, stencil storm drains, clean streams, river, lakes,shore line, where we live, we set examples, Do you realize that if you change 10 people on how they think, and they start setting examples, and they also each change 10, do you see where I'm going with this.
We can heal the world, If we all get started now.
Settle in the past, Engage in the present, Prepare for the future.
Don't ever forget, We all have the potential of changing the world.
One random act of kindness for the voiceless, children, wildlife, waterways, at a time, could make the difference of a better life now and a better life (IF THERE IS AN AFTER) CARPE DIEM

The destruction of the earth and perversion of that which is Spirit....... by: Francis
Simply, "progress", so-called, is destroying the earth (our land, air, water, vegetation, and the creatures) and perverting that which is Spirit(Light, Life, Truth, Love, Peace, Hope, Grace, Miracles, Faith, etc.) ;-(
Postings have been made at TheDestructionOfTheEarth.Wordpress.com concerning such destruction and perversion and The Creator's (GOD, Father) promise that HE will "destroy those who destroy the earth (HIS Creation)!" (Rev11:18c)
Yet there is a Living, Lively Hope!
However, such Hope is not for that which is of the earth, the earthly and fleshly, but there is a Living, Lively Hope for the Spirit, Heavenly and Spiritual.
Hope for that which is Spirit is Alive because "progress", the product of mankind's "imagination", can pervert but not destroy that which is Spirit! For that which is Spirit is Real, and that which is Real remains Forever!
So no matter how perverse this world's systems of religion become, that which belongs to the Spirit can only be abused and perverted, not destroyed!
That which is Spirit is Eternal.......
As for that which is called "religion".
"Pure religion and undefiled before GOD The Father (Creator) is this, to visit the fatherless, orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the world." (James 1:27)
Simply, every other religion shall be deemed impure and defiled!
As stated previously, "that which is called "progress" is of mankind's "imagination" and can pervert without destroying that which is Spirit", and so it is that the world and religions have their version of "Light", which can be turned on and off;
Their version of "Truth", which is of the "imagination";
Their version of "Love", which is actually lust;
Their version of "Peace", which needs to be enforced;
Their version of "Hope", which is but a desire for temporary "things";
Their version of "Faith", which is powerless;
Their version of "Grace", which is the liberty to "do your own thing" regardless of the consequences;
And sadly, the favorite color of this world's religion is gloomy gray ;-(
So come out of the shadows! And as said by many, "Get Real"!
Once again, "only that which is Spirit is Real, and only that which is Real lasts Forever"!

So true, I also find that many people talk the talk and seldom walk the walk, If any of us want to save our Earth, we need to take an active part, Not waiting for our Neighbors, Setting Examples Ourselves, One can start by Waster-Sizing, All you need to do is pick an area where Children or Animals Play or where things can be washed into a Storm Drain, (Our Lifes Blood) and Bend at the Waist to Pick Up the Waste, Getting rid of both, setting examples, getting exercise, and doing your part, Stencil Storm Drains, Many, like children have no idea where Storm Drains go, Seldom is this being taught in all schools, We all need to become teachers to the unknowing or uncaring by not only talking but by doing, Leaving only foot prints behind, And by remembering the 3 R's, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, When you shop bring your own bag, When you smoke, Keep your Butts to yourself, A water bottel in the car with a little water, put you toxic butts in there, no smell, no fire, no dangers to the voiceless, children, wildlife, waterways, Pack it in, Pack it out.
