Sugar Maples line Pinnacle Way

Sugar Maples line Pinnacle Way

Gallaghers Community in SE Kelowna. The street is lined with "sugar maples " that are on Pinnacle Way adjacent to the Pinnacle Golf Course. What a site!

Barry's Response - Yes, what a sight. We don't have many trees that turn bright red like that in Alberta. Thank you Daryll.

Sugar maples have beautiful leaves that turn to brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow in the fall. Maple syrup is made from their sap.

These trees create a stunning canopy in forests with their lobed leaves. In the summer, they provide shade and habitat for wildlife.

They thrive in cooler climates in the northeastern part of North America. Nature lovers and pancake lovers love sugar maples for their beauty and delicious syrup!

Beautiful British Columbia

Shane Lake, Prince George, BC

When I watch the weather network on TV it seems that British Columbia gets missed in the across Canada weather update.

When the forecasters are talking about the weather they stop at Calgary that is as far west as they go. But believe me there is another province just west of Alberta called British Columbia and it is beautiful here.

I live in Prince George BC and I would like to send you a picture to show you that we do exist.
Thank you from
BC

Barry's Response - Hi Heidi. Thanks for calling. I didn't know you were there. Now the world knows about you.

Where is Prince George? See this Google map.

https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=prince+george+bc&ndsp=21&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=Prince+George,+BC,+Canada&ei=ySP7SsX6OpDYsgP0-9WQAQ&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CA0Q8gEwAA

In British Columbia, Prince George is surrounded by mountains and forests. It has a lot of different climates.

Outdoor adventures like hiking and fishing are perfect in the summer. Winter turns the city into a snowy wonderland, perfect for snowball fights and sledding. Colorful blooms in spring, and stunning foliage in fall.

Enjoy all four seasons here, from snowmen to sunny days. It's a great place to explore and have fun any time of year in Prince George!
